Who are We?
The Lord knows who we are and where we are. We cannot hide from God. God is everywhere. If we think nobody is watching us we are wrong. God sees everything. God is everything except sin. God is pure with righteousness. We will never be pure unless we accept him as our savior. Until then things will be tough.
When times are tough and it seems anything and everything you do nothing good comes out of it. It can be one of the two things. Number one it could be, your not in the center of God’s will for your life and number two it could be, God is showing you something to prepare you. Not everything God gives us seems to be in our best interest. God shows us things through our wrong doings (mistakes). How else are we going to learn. This doesn’t mean go out and do bad things on account of you. That is not God’s will. The Lord allows these things to take place in our lives for us to learn. When you do it once, it’s like touching a hot stove, you do not want to touch it or do it again.
What are we accountable for? We are accountable to spread the Gospel and to make the decision between right and wrong. We do not like to be held accountable for anything, especially if it means doing something we do not want to do or we do not feel like doing. We spend more time worrying about what God asked us to do, than it would for us to do the simple little task God asked us to do. Sometimes, we worry so much we’re to the point that there isn’t any use to do it anyway. If we would do as He asks things would be much easier. So, why worry when you do not have to. Sometimes, we depend on God too much. God wants us to take part in his will for us. He’s not going to give it to us and say here take and do as you please. It’s going to be a little more difficult than that. Galatians 5:16 says, "This I say then, Walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." We have to grow as a Christian to become knowledgeable about our responsibility here on earth. If we’re not knowledgeable then how are we going to be able to do our job. It’s like working at our job, we have to have the knowledge and want to too be able to perform to the best of our God given ability. It’s just like being a Christian, we have to have the want to and knowledge to serve and live like Jesus did. Our ultimate goal here on earth should be to serve God to the best of our ability and have a continuous love relationship with him. Most Christians today are categorized as a "Religious Person" not as a "Christian", because there is no love relationship between them and God. God loves us and He wants us to love Him the same. God’s love is unconditional. A love that will never end. To have a love relationship with God, we have to be humble before God. We have to be in constant prayer with God. Prayer is a two-way communication between God and us. If we do not talk with God, then how can he answer or talk with us. God wants to here from us. He enjoys listening to us. We are his children. Don’t you enjoy listening and helping your children? God is the same way. He likes helping us when we’re in need and when we’re not. Talk to God. He will here you. A relationship is something special. A man should have three types of relationships in his lifetime. First, the relationship with his father which art in Heaven. Second, a love relationship with his wife. Third, a love relationship with his children. Each relationship has it’s own type of love. If the man has the first relationship in order the rest of the relationships will fall in place. If you’re not in a love relationship with God, get in one, because your life will change. Seek what is right not what is wrong. Want to live the way Jesus lived. Jesus never lost his love relationship with his father.
