Today is the Day

Jesus Forgives

Thank you for your prayers. Continue to pray humbly before the Lord. Seek understanding and truth from the Lord. Ask Him to give you the guidance you need. He will give it to you if you ask. The Lord is no joke, neither is His word. Have faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing that of the word. If we don't hear then how can contradict what other people think or believe. It is not our place to judge. The Bible says that the word is sharper than any two edged sword. If you don't believe it, than it's going to cut you and it is going to hurt. God promised us eternal life through Jesus. There is no other way. Through Him is our salvation of righteousness. Without righteousness we are like twigs blowing in the wind with no hope of stopping. But by the word comes righteousness, then we are like strong trees ready for the wind (devil) to try to blow us away. But there is one thing, where did the strong tree start? It started from a twig just blowing in the wind. You see, someone had to plant the seed of the twig and of the strong tree. How did the twig grow to be a strong tree? It had to hear and seek the word. Without the word we are nothing, but with the word we can be something. So don't be the twig just blowing in the wind be the strong tree. But also do not be a strong tree that won't rot or wilt away, be the one that will grow to its full max than want to grow more. What I'm trying to say is stand up for what you believe in. If you have a question, ask and seek the truth. God will reveal it to you He promises us. He says ask for knowledge and I shall give it to you freely. You know Jesus wants a full 100% Christian not a half Christian. The Bible says a Luke-warm Christian. This reminds me of Cain and Abel, when Abel brought forth the firstborn of his flock and Cain brought some of his (best) fruit, not the sacrifice God wanted. You see God wants the best we can give and if we live a Luke-warm Christian life, God can’t do his work through us. Why? Because we’re to busy worrying about what society thinks instead of what God thinks. We (Christians) are comfortable with sin in our churches, homes, work place and etc. It is Christians like this that are stumbling blocks instead of stepping stones. We may not think people are watching us but they are and most importantly God is watching. That should make us feel really bad considering what Jesus did for us. You know, God doesn’t ask much of us. If we could pay just as much attention or time with God as we do watching T.V. or other things we like to do, we could be some awesome Christians in society and God’s eyes. God doesn’t hate. God loves. God is love. The devil is hate. (John 10:10) says, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life. and that they might have it more abundantly." Life is a precious thing. God created us with a very fine precise tooth comb. So fine it was in His own image and He is perfect. We try to second or out guess God. How can we ever do something like that when He is the one that gave us the knowledge in the first place. The devil makes us think that way. Even starting from Adam and Eve, the serpent made Eve think eating from the forbidden fruit was all right. The devil can twist things around with one or two little words. For example the words ok and not ok. These words are so easy to get mixed around. Especially if you are a Luke-warm Christian. The bottom line of it all is do what God wants not what self wants. Give God all the praise and glory.

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe." (1 Thessalonians 2:13)
