Lord, Why Do We Argue?
Lord why do we argue? Is it because it is all we know to do or is it something we think we have to do? What causes arguing between two people? Is it the animosity build-up in one’s background that affects the way we approach certain situations? Why do two people want to batter each other’s feelings towards each other? If two people get married under oath to submit their lives to You and keep You as the focal point of their lives and marriage, Should there be any kind of conflict. We know that you are not the center of conflict. We also know if we let You guide our path along the way there won’t be as much conflict. I think that sometimes we get so frustrated about something (most of the time it is something that is so ridiculous) we let the devil win the battle. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger." We know the devil is the center of conflict. John 10:10 explains what the thief (satan) is really out here to do too us. Sometimes when we loose a loved one, in whatever form or fashion it may be, we tend to think that it is my/mine fault. When in all reality it is the devil persuading you to think it is your fault. The devil doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He has already been defeated (did you hear that he has already been defeated). He is going to burn for eternity in hell, so why should he care for anyone’s being. The devil’s ultimate goal is to take as many as he can to hell with him.
Now let’s talk about the situation that is the most persecuted, the most rejected, the most unheard of, the most beautiful, the most gracious, the most merciful, the most loving, the most caring, the most precious and most of all the most forsaking situation of all it is Jesus. To follow Jesus we are going to be persecuted wherever we go. The devil has the innocent so twisted it is unreal. They are so vulnerable and nieve the first thing they hear they believe. That is why it is our job to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Why is Jesus rejected everywhere we go? Because people are comfortable in their own ways. Which are the ways of man. Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. We go our own ways and leave God behind. We can’t leave Jesus behind because He is our light in the darkness. Without the light how are we too see. Too many people walk in the darkness thinking it is the light, but that light is a false light that the devil uses to lure people away from God. The devil's light is like a battery. Eventually it is going to run out. But on the other hand Jesus’ light and word is an everlasting light. Psalms 119:105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Stay in the word and your path will have a permanent light in it, until you get off track somehow. Then, it is like you turned the light switch off yourself and when you get ready to let the Lord guide your path again you flip the light switch back on. But don’t let it be too late because the light switch may not have any source of power anymore if you know what I mean
